As former journalists now working in public relations, the Takeaway PR team writes newsy press releases, which score well online and in the regional, national and trade press.
Takeaway PR was launched in response to the economic crash of 2008/09 – our ethos is to enable firms to stay in the media spotlight without breaking the bank. The team is led by Jenna Weekes, a former regional chief reporter with extensive experience as a PR Account Director. Jenna has led PR campaigns for a range of industries, including local councils, IT, human resources, recruitment, lettings, children’s attractions and many more.
Jenna trained under the exclusive Trinity Mirror journalism programme. Our team of experienced journalists includes members of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, experts in broadcast and print media, former newspaper editors, business editors and specialist reporters who have run PR for a number of high-profile UK companies.
